DooWop Jukebox Gold Preferred Membership
Live365, the home of my station, has introduced a cap on the number of listeners that can listen to my station at any one time. Based upon what I know about my listernership patterns, that means some of you faithful listeners may not be able to listen at peak times.
Good news is that Live365 has a Preferred Listener plan, which costs as little as $4.95/month. Becoming a Preferred Listener would allow you to listen ANY time and to ANY station you want: As a Preferred Member you'll ALWAYS have access! The best part is that Preferred Listeners receive my broadcast COMMERCIAL-FREE !.
You can take a look at the plan using the following link: http://www.live365.com/listen/preferred-member.live Thanks for your support!

DooWop Jukebox Gold Real Time Playlist
Unfortunately Live365 has blocked direct linking some time ago. We have lost the URL and with it listening through third party players like Winamp has been limited. (You can still listen with these Players though - we will inform you about that further down this page). If you listen through Itunes not using the Live365.com Mac player you miss out on the playlist feature of Live365. There's a possibility to view the playlist real time: Here's how: Create a new textfile and copy and paste the following ENTIRE code into it:
Now, if you open that file again it will generate a page with the real time playlist. No login is required and you get no ads. Note: very old versions of browsers do not support iframes but visitors with these browsers can still open the full size player by hitting the "listen" link. Feel free to put this code on any website.
Too many pop-ups - Pop-Up Stopper One listener wrote me:
That's a shame and eventhough I know that Live365 needs this income in order to survive, I thought I let you know that you can do something about these pop-ups or ad-spammer.
If you're not interested in a preferred membership as is mentioned above, I can recommend using a free pop-up stopper which you can download from www.panicware.com
Real Player To be able to listen to our station with a simple click of the mouse- button using our skins, you need to have Real player version 10.5 installed (Attention: the newer version 11 does not permit the use of custom skins - do NOT upgrade when asked!). Download the free basic player or get the full version from the Real networks using the button below.
Download the Free basic player on the page that opens. It will have all features needed for our skins and includes a simple equalizer that can improve the sound quality greatly. After the installation of Real player get one of our old time retro skins that have our stations built in.
See our Help pages to get started.
Winamp If you prefer listening to our station using Winamp we can recom-mend our own Winamp skins. Goldplated and slick it enables you to play our station directly from it's source. (you have to reconfigure the live365 player to use your own default MP3 player, which - of course - needs to be Winamp. Enforce reconfiguration from your live365 page or by deleting your cookies.)
When configuration is done you first have to log in at live365 in the usual manner. The live365 player window will open Winamp and start playing. (Once it's playing closing the Live365 player window prevents adds from popping up.) Unfortunately the sessions from Live365 do not stay valid so you'll need to log in each time the connection has been broken. You can get Winamp at this link.
